Over 33,000 products have been donated, and among them are protective equipment for doctors, as well as appliances for equipping hospitals and quarantine centres.

"A short time ago I sent the request to several embassies to receive support for the hospitals in Bucharest and for our social assistance departments. Here comes a consistent response from Turkey through the lady ambassador, through the president of the Turkish businessmen's association”, declared Gabriela Firea, the general mayor of the capital.

Donated products include equipment, furniture, refrigerators, washing machines, sheets, all needed in hospitals, but also in quarantine centres.

One of the most important weapons in the fight against coronavirus is solidarity- strongly believes the Turkish Ambassador to Romania, Mrs. Fusun Aramaz, who is sending a message.

"The Turkish government has already provided several transports of medical supplies, at the request of the Romanian authorities.

The most important thing is solidarity and solidarity between friendly countries. Global solidarity is the key to overcoming this crisis all over the world” said Mrs. Füsun ARAMAZ, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Romania.
