Actorul indian Nana Patekar, cunoscut pentru interpretările sale pline de pasiune din film și teatru, a încetat din viață joi, la vârsta de 75 de ani, transmite agenția Reuters.
A fost găsit inconștient în domiciliul propriu
Nana Patekar a fost găsit inconștient la domiciliul său din statul Goa, joi dimineață, iar medicii sosiți la fața locului nu au reușit să-l resusciteze, conform agenției de presă ANI.

he was declared dead by 5:30 am. We had tried our best to save him, but he was brought dead. Cardiac massage was given for almost 45 minutes to an hour, but he just could not be saved. As per what we recalled, at around 2:30, he sent a message to his friend that he was not feeling well. But as it was nighttime, his friend could not see the message. So he just called him. He went to his house at around 4 o'clock. By that time, he was sweating and all. They moved him, all those primary things. But he was slowly becoming unconscious... So they sent his caretaker to the hospital... He took our ambulance. When our ER team went there, they started cardiac massage because he was totally unresponsive... They shifted him to our hospital at around 4:20 or 4:30 am. We also tried our best, but he was brought dead. Then we had to file a police case because there's an MLC (medico-legal case). The body has now been taken to the Goa Medical College for post-mortem. His family was not there. His friends were there with him and a caretaker." — ANI (@ANI) October 8, 2026
"Am încercat tot posibilul să-l salvăm"
Medicul Shekhar Salkar, șeful Departamentului de Oncologie din Spitalul Manipal, a declarat: "Nana Patekar a fost adus mort la spital... a fost declarat mort la 5:30 dimineața. Am încercat tot posibilul să-l salvăm, dar a fost adus mort. I s-a făcut masaj cardiac timp de aproape 45 de minute până la o oră, dar pur și simplu, nu a putut fi salvat".
Conform primelor informații, actorul ar fi trimis un mesaj pentru prietenul lui că nu se simțea bine, dar, cum era noapte, prietenul lui nu a putut vedea mesajul.
"L-au adus la spitalul nostru pe la 4:20 sau 4:30 am făcut tot posibilul, dar nu am reușit să-l salvăm", a precizat medicul indian.

Pe numele său real Vishawanath Patekar, el și-a început cariera jucând teatru în limba marathi, vorbită în statul său natal, Maharashtra, care este și centrul industriei de film Bollywood.
Patekar a jucat în mai multe filme de artă din India în anii '70 și '80, inclusiv în premiatul film al regizoarei Mira Nair "Salaam Bombay", înainte de a se orienta către producții de la Bollywood.
